Fast Fair Computer Repair

Most computer repair companies either charge enormous flat fees that overcharge for the little jobs and undercharge for the big ones or they charge an hourly rate for the total time spent working on your computer including on the job training. At JBUR-Solutions we take a different approach that we believe is fairer to our customers. In short, we bill by the hour but charge by the job for anything that requires at least one hour of labor. This means repairs that should only take an hour to complete but instead take three hours to complete due to circumstances within JBUR-Solutions' control, will only be invoiced for one hour of labor. For jobs that take less than an hour of labor we have a schedule of flat fees. And since our estimates are precise and free, there is no need to dread seeing the bill when the job is completed.

Blow out Dust from Computer $10.00
Disconnect or Reconnect Peripherals (Printers, Keyboard, Mouse, etc.) $15.00
Diagnostic Fee (Fee to determine the cause of an issue) $20.00
Simple Fix (Reboot device, Plug cord in, Change Setting) $20.00
Install RAM or other plug and play hardware $20.00
Microsoft Windows Lost Password Removal $30.00
Install small update or software program (20 minutes or less to install) $30.00
 

Used when combined cost is less than one hour of labor plus Travel Fee

Labor: $70.00 an hour rounded to the nearest 15 minutes (1 hour minimum)
Remote Access Support: $1.00 a minute (High speed Internet connection required, $10.00 minimum)
Support by Phone and Email: $20.00 for first 30 minutes $1.00 each additional minute

Additional Fees:

  • Travel Fee: $15 multiplied by the Zone Number of the destination. See Travel Fee Map for Zones. (When travel takes longer than 15 minutes within a zone or for areas not in a zone, $1.50 will be added to the travel fee for each additional minute.)
  • Online Payment Convenience Fee: 5% of Total Amount Due
  • Purchase from Local Store Fee: 25% of purchase cost or $10.00 whichever is greater

Discounts:

  • Senior Citizen: 10%
  • Student or Faculty: 10%
  • Veteran or Active Duty Service Members and their Dependants: 10%
  • $15.00 off travel fee for each consecutive hour of labor
  • Free Peripherals Disconnect or Reconnect with one hour of labor
  • Free 10 minutes of Phone or Email support for new customers
  • Free 20 minutes of Phone or Email support with 1 hour of labor (limit 20 minutes per 6 months)

JBUR-Solutions requires 50% down for all special order items such as OEM replacement parts, before they will be ordered.
